Monkey Money

Fun Fact of the Day – When taught to use money, a group of capuchin monkeys responded rationally to simple incentives such as exchanging the silver discs for treats, budgeting for foods they liked, and buying more of something when the price dropped.

They also responded irrationally to risky gambles, failed to save, stole when they could, and even exchanged money for sex in one instance.
