
First Spy Satellite
The first spy satellite launched in 1960 as part of the CIAs Corona program to surveil the USSR and China. To recover the images, buckets of film were parachuted from the disposable space camera and recovered mid-air by Air Force cargo planes. Even in the 1960’s the satellite cameras had a ground resolution of 5 feet.

Pringles Can Inventor
The inventor of the Pringles can and stackable, saddle-shaped chips was so proud of his invention he was buried in one. In 2008 Fred Baur’s ashes were buried inside an Original Pringles can, purchased by his family at Walgreens on the way to the funeral home.
