Fun Fact of the Day – In 1908, Russia showed up 12 days late to the London Summer Olympics.

While the UK had been using the Gregorian calendar for over 150 years, Russia still used the Julian calendar, which doesn’t have the same amount of leap days – so the team didn’t quite make it on time.
