Fun Fact of the Day – Steve Fossett, an American businessman, and adventurer, became the first person to cross the Pacific Ocean on a solo, non-stop flight in a hot-air balloon from South Korea to Canada, 25 years ago in February 1995.
In 2002 Steve also became the first person to fly around the world, alone, non-stop in a similar hot-air balloon.
